When Connie Boyd of Magical Women contacted me in December 2024 to say she wanted to start of next year with featuring me on the cover of Paul Romany’s VANISH magazine my immediate answer was – YES!
Connie has been a good friend and a supportor for several years now. She even came to support me when i filmed my Penn & Teller: Fools Us act last year. Which you can watch here.
I was lucky enough to meet Paul Romany in person when I was performing last year at The Magic Castle, Hollywood. Paul and his son came to watch my performance in The Palace of Mystery alongside Tom Stone and Gaston (Robert Dahlström).
VANISH Magazine was born in 2011 and since then Paul has featured many artists, creators, stories, essay’s, tricks and more. One particulare thing I like about VANISH is the desire of Paul, alongside Connie, to feature two artists each issue. And they try to diversify their artists as much as possible. For me it has been an absolute breath of fresh air to see many women featured in this Magazine and be given a regular platform on.
